Yes. We aspire to get our dark romance editions onto the shelves of readers everywhere.

Keep in mind, we do not charge/collect VAT or custom fees upon ordering.

You are responsible for paying these fees as required by your respective country upon delivery. Hidden Secrets Bookstore, LLC is not responsible for these fees. Any packages returned to us for non-payment of these fees will not be refunded to you or mailed again without paying additional shipping fees. We have no control over the costs of VAT or custom fees.

Damaged or incorrect…

While we take the utmost care in packing and shipping your order correctly and swiftly, we’re still human. 

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please email us at marjorie@hiddensecretsbookstore.com within 14 days of delivery. Include your order number in the subject line and any relevant information and photos. We’ll do everything possible to rectify the mishap.

Lost…

If your item is lost, please file a claim with USPS. We will not replace an item unless a claim is filed. USPS requires a 30-day no movement period prior to a claim being filed. Once a claim is filed, we will issue a replacement item or credit at our discretion.

Stolen…

Hidden Secrets Bookstore, LLC is not responsible for stolen packages. Once a package leaves our stacks, it’s out of our hands—literally. We are unable to refund or replace your order. 

In other words, we wish we could apprehend mail thieves but instead encourage you to keep a close eye on pending deliveries so these dark discoveries make it into the right hands. Please contact your local post office if your package is stolen.

Paperback Pre-Order: Ships 2-3 weeks after the pre-order has closed.

Hardcover Pre-Order: Ships 2 months after the pre-order has closed.

On-Hand Items: Typically ship within a week unless it’s a pre-order item. We strive for the fastest shipping time frames. In the event of delayed shipping, we will contact you directly with updates.

  • Media Mail: This is the most affordable but slowest shipping option. It includes a tracking number but no insurance. We are not liable for damaged, lost, or stolen packages.

  • USPS Ground Advantage: Our mid-range option includes tracking and insurance. It’s cheaper and slower than Priority.

  • USPS Priority: Includes tracking and insurance. This is our fastest shipping option.

• International Shipping

  • USPS First Class Package International: This is the most affordable shipping option. It includes a tracking number but no insurance. We are not liable for damaged, lost, or stolen packages. 

USPS Priority Mail International: Includes tracking and insurance. It takes about 6-10 business days for transit but is not guaranteed.
